World Peace Rally – Ahmedabad to London
The organisers of the world peace rally in 2019 wanted the rally to run smoothly. They turned to Connaught Air Services and SAI Seaair in India for their logistics solution. The aim was to promote world peace, it was imperative that the rally went well.
As the United Nations has announced 2019 to 2028 as the Nelson Mandela Decade of Peace and India is celebrating Mahatma Gandhiji’s 150th Birth Anniversary, we have committed ourselves to spread the message of world peace and for this; we wish to embark on a journey to spread out the peace massage across countries by taking out a rally. The rally will be led by Mr. A.K Pawar, a retired Chief Commissioner, Customs & Central Excise (IRS).
The World Peace Rally itself
Lasting a duration of 42 days the rally began in Ahmedabad on the 1st of July 19. They covered 17,000 Kilometres and visited over 100 cities in 14 countries.
Organised by the “Shree Sai Women and Children Trust” and established in 2014 as a Non-Profit Charity Organization, SAI Women & Children Welfare Trust continue to assist financially. Supplying education, grains and food items to women and children across the country. The charity has assisted with medical and hospital expenses in times of emergency. Looking to help in times of need.
Connaught Air Services arranged the safe return of all 10 vehicles. Successfully organised and liaised all customs and shipping formalities with our partners “Sai Seaair Logistics Pvt Ltd”.
As a regular project forwarder experienced in moving cars by air and sea they rose to the challenge. Connaught Global handled the loading and all customs formalities in the UK.
