New export Support Team will help more businesses trade with Europe
This helpline will bring together a “one-stop shop” of answers for business looking to trade with Europe and overseas. In 2020 the UK exported £288 billion worth of goods to the rest of Europe. Since Brexit this figure will have reduced considerably due to the ongoing issues with supply chains worldwide.
The Department for International trade confirms it is trying to make it easier for potential and existing exports to access the information they need to export into Europe. Queries around origin rules to questions on entering new markets. This export support service will provide one point of contact.
